HELIOS 9N RENTAL POLICIES
RESERVATIONS, DEPOSIT AND PAYMENTS
-
A two (2)
night minimum stay is required except for holiday weekends
when a three-night minimum stay may be required. A
non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total rental amount or
$200.00 whichever is more, is required in order to confirm a
reservation.
-
Full
payment of the rental balance due is required at least 30
days prior to the arrival date.
-
No refunds
will be made for late arrivals or early departures.
-
Payment can
be made by credit card or check. Checks can be faxed to
(800) 743-4188. Credit card payments can be made via PayPal.
-
Reservations are not held until payment is received.
CANCELLATIONS
-
All
cancellation transactions incur a $30.00 processing fee.
-
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the check-in
date will receive a credit towards a future visit within one
year of the original check-in date.
-
Cancellations made 15 to 29 days prior to the check-in date
will forfeit all deposits.
-
Cancellations made 14 or fewer days prior to the check-in
date will forfeit all deposits and balance due payments.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
-
Check-In
Time is at 4:00 PM.
-
Checkout
Time is at 10:00 AM.
-
Guests
staying past 10 A.M. check-out time will be charged a
minimum of one-half (1/2) the daily rental rate
-
We may not
be able to accommodate earlier check-ins or later checkouts
because we often have parties departing and arriving on the
same day.
PETS/SMOKING
-
To ensure
the overall quality and appearance of Helios 9N, no pets
are permitted.
-
To ensure
the overall quality and appearance of Helios 9N, smoking is
not permitted inside Helios 9N.
-
Additional
cleaning fees will be assessed if these policies are abused.
PARKING
-
Helios 9N
has one designated underground parking space which
accommodates two cars. The parking
space is numbered "9" and is accessed off Canyon
Blvd. All
other spaces are assigned to others.
-
Park in
this designated parking space only.
CLEANING
-
Maid
service and or towel and linen service are available upon
request with prior arrangement and an additional fee based
on your requirements.
-
You will be
responsible to leave the dishes, utensils, and appliances
clean.
-
All trash
is to be disposed of in the receptacles provided in the
garage.
-
Housekeeping will launder towels, sheets and linens;
sanitize bathrooms, dust, wash windows, etc.
-
In the
event the trashcans are not emptied or the dishes, utensils,
and appliances are not clean, you will incur an "express
checkout" fee of $25.00.
UTILITIES
-
Water and
electricity are included in your rental fee. Please use
these resources in a manner to be comfortable without being
wasteful.
-
One
telephone is supplied, all long distance charges must be
charged to guests’ long distance calling card.
SECURITY DEPOSIT AND DAMAGES
-
You are
responsible for any loss or damages incurred during your
stay.
-
If you
provided a credit card for payment, your credit card will be
charged for any loss or damage.
-
If a credit
card was not provided, a security deposit of 50% of the
total rental amount or $250.00 whichever is less must be
paid at least 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
Your security deposit will be refunded within 14-days of
checkout, less any charges incurred.

Please make
sure that all keys are returned to the Lockbox. You will
be charged a $25 replacement fee for each lost key.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
-
Helios 9N
is privately owned, and the management reserves the right to
refuse service to anyone.
LIABILITY
-
The owners
and management will not be responsible for accidents or
injuries to guests or for loss of money, jewelry, or other
valuables during their stay. Should litigation arise
concerning provisions of the agreement, reasonable legal
fees will be awarded to prevailing party.
CAPACITY
-
Helios 9N,
as currently configured, accommodates a maximum of 6 people.

If guests
arrive with more people in their party than the house
allows, NO ONE will be permitted to enter the house, and NO
REFUND will be issued. The law makes it a crime to defraud
the innkeeper, and having more people in the house than have
registered is included in the provisions of this code.
-
The law
prohibits transient occupants of lodging facilities from
housing additional guests in a unit and that a violation of
the provisions of this chapter is a violation of the
Municipal Code subject to a civil penalty of not less than
one hundred dollars ($100) for each day on which such
violation occurs. The law further prohibits the defrauding
of innkeepers and such fraud is punishable by a fine of up
to one thousand dollars ($1,000) and/or by imprisonment in
the State prison for up to three (3) years.
